The Mac mini is now set up for remote agent work and local models. Switched to Ghostty, shared skills between Codex and Claude Code, and added setup maintenance, motion video and test-audit skills.

You’re reading the setup as it was published on 6 October 2026.

Setup history

What I build

Building mysetup.ai, a community of builders, creators and engineers to share the tools, services and workflows they're adopting when building.

How I work

Codex is now my primary agent harness, with Claude Code as my second coding agent. Depending on how much I max out my plans on a weekly basis. I run both in auto mode inside Herdr with varying levels of effort depending on the task at hand. I speak most prompts through Wispr Flow, and it's become a core tool in my development process, including the generation of this text :)

I'll use Moshi on my phone for edits to unblock agents when I’m out walking the dog or as ideas come to mind. I'll often generate large features using plan files or documents, then launch the agent to work over many hours, typically overnight.

You'll often find me running anywhere from 10 to 15 agent sessions. Most sessions get disposed of after a period of time. However, I do have a set of core sessions that remain persistent, ranging from error-handling agents to documentation agents, pull request agents, bug reports, etc. Maybe this is the beginning of a "software factory".

Using Codex with chrome/computer use a lot more for agent self-verification of features.
