My everyday setup
Primarily herdr with pi agent. I also use claude code and codex. Sometimes I access herdr over tailscale using collie.
How I work
For day to day infra work - I restrict agents to read only access and allow agents cli access. And I steer agents actively from time to time. As my daily driver, I like Sol - medium quite a bit.
For greenfield projects I mention the user journeys for the product, then I make the frontier models develop a High Level Design and Mid Level Design - which I read and review myself. Once I ask for changes - then I leave the code to a pareto frontier model like Deepseek Flash v4.1 or GLM-5.3-flash. Get Astra max or Fable max to plan and design - and also to review.
For my personal projects - I do not read the code, I only check the outcomes. The frontier models are proactive enough to check their work themselves mostly through computer use or claude/codex chrome connectors.
